All Things are Possible When You LEAD: Nova Scotia Spring Update

Spring is where all things seem possible.” Joyce Carol Oates

Youth mentor in training, Johnny Baker MacDonald led his very first opening circle this past week with youthLEADarts and inspired the kids to take ACTION. Johnny also introduced some team building activities and held space for the youth to reflect on what they noticed about how the group worked together. Many of the youth commented on how listening deeply and empathizing with each other helped them to complete group tasks successfully.

Melanie McDuff also led a food art activity where kids created their own unique dirt cups using different types of pudding, crumbled oreo cookies and gummy worms, followed by some echo art reflection. It was so nice to be outside for all these new beginnings, fresh air and springtime vibes.  See photos below!
