The new year is here and so are our long lists of resolutions (resolutions that, let’s be honest, usually fail). Whether you have a big list of goals or you’re just trying to get through the week, you’re doing okay.
This year doesn’t have to be about “becoming a new person.” It can just be about taking care of the person you already are. This year, try to focus on simple things like resting more, being kind to yourself, and taking it one day at a time.

Your only real job is to take care of the person you are right now. Instead of focusing on the people around you and trying to please them, take a moment to recognize yourself and understand who you are and what goals you have. Don’t make goals to please others, make goals that will please and improve you. This year instead of starting the year off strong, let’s start each and every day off strong and take it one day at a time.
