Explore! Imagine! Create! Play! That’s what Lismore Adventure and Design Club is all about this summer!
From jumping off the raft at Lismore Beach to learning to play pickle ball at Arisaig Community Center, these young leaders are working together to vision their very own adventure playground!
Today was a great day to be inspired. We took a trip to Arisaig Community Center where, board member Ian MacDonald toured us around their beautiful playground, trail and pickle ball court.
Ian shared Arisaig’s vision from inception to delivery of this incredible and inclusive outdoor space. He talked about fundraising, the importance of community volunteers, and how working together can make great things happen.
The inspired youth then manifested their own ideas for the Lismore space using water colour paint and clay.
