Lewis Fang to Perform at Tomorrow’s Soiree

Born in Suzhou, China, Lewis Fang is currently a 12th grade student at The Hun School of Princeton and a Pre-college student at The Juilliard School. He started playing the piano at age 4.

 In 2015, Lewis immigrated to Vancouver, Canada, where he further continued his studies.  Lewis has been invited to perform with orchestras including the Orchestra Citta’ Di Grosseto in Grosetto, Italy, the Bazzini Consort Orchestra in Brescia, Italy, the Encore Sinfonietta Vancouver Orchestra and the Rimsky-Korsakov String Quartet of St. Petersburg. 

Lewis has performed in Koerner Hall, the Chan Centre, Steinway Hall, and Carnegie Hall. He has won top prizes in the Paderewski International Piano Competition, Great Piano Masters International Piano Competition, NYYPP International Piano Competition, the Canadian Music Competition, and the Pacific Rim International Music Competition. 

As a young artist, he embodies LEAD values and has founded the Lewis Fang Music Project Grant that provides a lifeline for rising musicians seeking financial support to realize their creative projects. His family is one of the founding donors of LEAD.
