Nathaniel is a graduate of the youthLEADarts program, as am I. Currently, Nathanial is a grade 9 student with a passion for animation. He creates his animations using Krita, a digital art and animation program that allows him to bring his ideas to life.
Throughout his animation journey, Nathaniel has learned many valuable lessons. One of the biggest challenges he faced was realizing that making projects too complicated could slow his progress and make the process more stressful. Over time, he learned that sometimes simplicity is key. By not overcomplicating his projects, he could work more efficiently and stay creative.

During difficult periods, Nathaniel found motivation in watching different shows and exploring the work of other creators. These moments gave him fresh ideas and renewed inspiration. His dedication to animation started when he was a kid, and that early passion has continued to drive him forward, even when things get challenging.
Nathaniel’s story shows that growth in animation comes not just from success, but from learning, adapting, and staying inspired along the way.
The message that Nathaniel wanted me to share is to always stay dedicated to something you love. It always works out in the end.
