Spotlight on April: A True LEADer in Her Community!

April is a volunteer extraordinaire! We are especially grateful that she has been leading jewelry and crocheting workshops for youth in Lismore. Because she knows that budgets are tight, April put together individual kits for each participant and provided all materials and services free of charge.

April retired from her demanding career job and a made a proud return to her family roots in Nova Scotia in 2021. An adventurous spirit, she loves traveling, thrifting, hunting for sea glass and making beautiful things with her found treasures. Despite operating her vacation rental, Eigg Mountain Escape, April always finds time to serve her community. People are her passion.

A true philanthropist, we thank you April for all you are doing for youth and your community! If you would like to donate to or volunteer for youthLEADarts in Nova Scotia please contact Shelley MacDonald at info@youthleadarts.com
