The youthLEADarts Midsummer Soirée yesterday was a smashing success!
We opened a few doors, generated awareness about LEAD’s impact on young people across Canada and heard musical and spoken word performances from up-and-coming youth from coast to coast.
Thank you to Bill Coulter for lending his bright voice, sincere passion and talent to the soiree! Thank you to Deirdre Potash for encouraging us to unleash the artist within and to Angela Aiello for all of her promotion and for spearheading the event.
Thank you to everyone on the Board for bringing in guests and helping to prepare for the event and thank you to the talent…Sora Sato Mound for your breathtaking musical performance, Devan Grewal for sharing your thoughts on leadership through poetry and reading with great cadence and tempo. Maya MacGillivray, your pure voice was simply sunshine.
